Jacques Bossonney

Originally from Lyon, Jacques is a dual U.S. and French citizen who has lived in Michigan for 18 years. In 2004, he and his wife, Carol, decided to return to France and make Paris their permanent home. Jacques was raised as a Roman Catholic and he discovered the Episcopalian faith when his son, Philip, joined the Christ Church Grosse Pointe choir as a chorister. Upon moving to Paris, Carol and Jacques started attending service at the American Cathedral, making a firm commitment to be active members of the Cathedral community by being confirmed in 2012.

Jacques enjoys being involved in the HOME career day program, being an usher and more recently becoming a lay reader. Jacques is a Business Development Executive in IBM’s recruitment services division. He holds a BA from the Université of Lyon and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Married for 32 years he has two grown children, Philip (29) who is a consultant and Madeleine (27) who is pursuing a master’s degree in European business. They both live in London. His interests include jazz music, reading, cooking, and football.
