"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." - Matthew 25:35
For over fifteen years, the Cathedral has helped to organize a freshly-cooked 3-course meal for 65 needy Parisians each week. The Friday Mission Lunch is a jointly-run outreach program together with The American Church, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, The Bridge International Church, the American Women Living in France (AAWE) and the Kehilat Gesher Synagogue. Volunteers prepare and host a hot, sit-down, well-balanced meal for its guests who seek not only food but acceptance in the warmth and safety of our hospitality.
No experience is required to come and help! You are guaranteed to make friends as you help chop, set up, or dry dishes. We are especially looking for people who love to cook to join our pool of chefs and help carry on the tradition of delicious, nutritious and beautiful meals served each week.

We will add your name to our email list. At the end of each month, we send out an email inviting people to select Friday assignments. We can only take a limited number of volunteers, so if you don't get a slot right away -- please give it another shot!
