Our musical association, Les Arts George V (LAGV), returns this fall with a clarinet concert by noted Italian clarinettist and composer Luca Luciano. Described by BBC radio as "one of Europe's leading exponent of jazz clarinet" and by the Clarinet & Saxophone Society of Great Britain as "the friendly face of contemporary clarinet", Luca Luciano's repertoire also embraces Brahms, Stravinsky, Poulenc and Berio. He has regularly premiered his music at St Martin in the Fields (UK) and has performed at the South Bank Centre (London). As a recording artist, his solo albums have received critical acclaim in three continents. This is the first of a series of Sunday concerts ("Les Dimanches Musicaux") offered free of charge at the American Cathedral in Paris. To learn more, see the LAGV website here.
