Cathedral Forum: “The Poetry of the First World War"

The First World War produced some extraordinary poets: Wilfrid Owen, Siegfried Sassoon, Robert Graves and others. Owen famously said, “my subject is war and the pity of war. The poetry is in the pity.” Come read and discuss some of this great poetry with the Dean as we approach the centennial of the end of the Great War.

Sunday, October 28, 9:45am in the Fleetwood Room of the American Cathedral.

The Cathedral Forum is a weekly lecture series with topics that range from theology, politics and spirituality to economics and literature. The forum regularly features prominent speakers from academia, the media, and journalism.
