Les Dimanches Musicaux: Ensemble Baroque Hesperis

Works by Vivaldi, Handel, Porpora, Marais, Campra, Royer and Rameau.

The Hesperis Ensemble places prestigious European musicians specializing in early music, practicing improvised music and contemporary music under the direction of harpsichordist and conductor Heroan Loiret.

The ensemble musicians enjoy a rich and diverse experience by their engagements in various orchestras of Europe and want to rely on this dynamic of a cross-border group to make live their music and their passion. Inspired by their origins, the performances of the musicians of the Hesperis Ensemble will take you through the influences and styles of an infinitely rich music in a unique artistic fusion.


“Les Dimanches Musicaux”, a series of free concerts organised by the Cathedral's musical association Les Arts George V, take place at the Cathedral on most Sundays throughout the year from September to November and from January to June. Concerts begin at 15H00 and last for approximately 50 minutes. Entry is free but donations are strongly encouraged! Read more on the LAGV website
