Sunday, October 6th at 3pm Lorenzany Ensemble. Works by Schütz, Zipoli, Biber, Vivaldi, Monza et Campra
The Lorenzany Ensemble takes its name from a piece for harpsichord entitled Allemande grave La Lorenzany composed by Gaspard Le Roux and presumably dedicated to the Italian musician Paolo Lorenzani. They perform in different chamber music ensembles: either with two harpsichords, a trio or a quartet with a singer, with a repertoire ranging from the 16th to the 18th century.
“Les Dimanches Musicaux”, a series of free concerts organised by the Cathedral's musical association Les Arts George V, take place at the Cathedral on most Sundays throughout the year from September to November and from January to June. Concerts begin at 15H00 and last for approximately 50 minutes. Entry is free but donations are strongly encouraged! Read more on the LAGV website ↣
