Les Dimanches Musicaux: Piano quatre mains

Sunday March 31 at 3pm Sarah Cabrol-Douat and Marina Kolomiytseva - piano Program dedicated to Mozart, Grieg and Dvorak.

The two pianists met while attending classes at the Moscow Central School and continued their studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Following different life paths, Kolomiytseva, on her side, won first prize in the Sydney International Competition in 2000.

Both pianists found themselves colleagues once more at the La Piana School of Music in Paris in 2006. In this context, they have discovered their true “common language”, side by side, at the piano. Their duet performances show an extraordinary complicity, with a musical approach that is rigorous and innovative.

“Les Dimanches Musicaux”, a series of free concerts organised by the Cathedral's musical association Les Arts George V, take place at the Cathedral on most Sundays throughout the year from September to November and from January to June. Concerts begin at 15H00 and last for approximately 50 minutes. Entry is free but donations are strongly encouraged! Read more on the LAGV website
