Music Programs at the American Cathedral

The Music Programs at the Cathedral are enjoying a much-deserved summer break. We are fortunate to have several of our talented staff singers joining us over the summer Sundays. To see the full summer schedule, click here. During the regular program year (September - June), the Cathedral has three choirs which sing regularly at services and an extensive music education program for children and youth.  In addition to the Cathedral Choirs, the Paris Choral Society is an affiliated chorus that performs several concerts each year

AGES 14-18: Youth Choir, Thursdays 6:00-8:00 pm

The Paris Choral Society

The Paris Choral Society, an "unpaid but professional-level choir" (New York Times), is auditioning for its new season.  We are a friendly, 100-strong, international choir with members aged between 20 & 80. We are particularly looking for Tenors and Basses with some choral experience and reasonable sight reading.

We rehearse weekly on Monday evenings at the American Cathedral in Paris. This season we will be performing Haydn's 'Cäcilienmesse' and movements from Purcell's Ode to Saint Cecilia; Handel’s Messiah (Sing-Along!); Poulenc's Stabat Mater and Frank Martin's Mass for Double Choir; and our final concert will be Choral Masterworks: a selection of the finest pieces in the choral repertoire.

Auditions will be held in the beginning of September.  To apply, look for an audition form and more details about the choir on our website:
