The Rev. Canon Kathleen Cullinane currently serves as the Interim Rector for the Parish of St. Clement in Honolulu, Hawai`i.
Previously, Kate was the Canon to the Ordinary (assistant to the bishop) in the Diocese of San Joaquin. She has also serviced as a hospice/ hospital chaplain as well as Associate Dean and Canon Missioner of the Cathedral in Indianapolis. Prior to her time in Indianapolis she was the Rector of St. Mary’s, a primarily Japanese-American congregation in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles.
Canon Kate has also done ministry work with refugees, the homeless and served as both a campus minister and AIDS prevention educator in Uganda. She has an M. Div. and S.T.M. (Spiritual Direction) from The General Theological Seminary and Bachelor of Science degree in biology and theology from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.
