Advent Lessons and Carols:

In joyful hope and expectation of the celebration of the birth of Christ, the Cathedral Choir will mark the beginning of the Advent season with a Service of Advent Lessons and Carols at 6pm on Sunday, December 2 (note time change from previous years).

Let us read and mark in Holy Scripture the tale of the loving purposes of God from the first days of our disobedience unto the glorious Redemption brought us by God’s holy Child; and let us look forward to the yearly remembrance of his birth with hymns and songs of praise.” (taken from the Advent Bidding Prayer).

Save the date!

Isn’t there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?
Sunday, December 9 at 12:30pm in the Parish Hall, a special seasonal screening of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” for children and their families, and for all children at heart.
