WWI Memorial weekend

On Saturday, November 10, 2018, the Cathedral’s historic battlefield cloister was rededicated in the presence of French, American and other Allied military and veterans groups. The day ended with music and poetry inspired by the “war to end all wars”.

On Sunday, November 11, 2018, the Cathedral welcomed The Rev. Mark D.W. Edington of the Diocese of Massachusetts. Edington was elected on October 20th 2018 as the next Bishop in Charge of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe. He preached at the WWI Memorial Service held at the Cathedral on Remembrance Day, a special worship service dedicated to the memory of lives lost in war and spent in prayers for peace in our own time.
