Christians and Jews share a large body of Hebrew Scriptures—what Christians have traditionally called the “Old Testament”—in common but we often read them very differently. In this Forum, Rabbi Tom Cohen of the Kehilat Gesher Synagogue here in Paris will introduce us to some very Jewish ways of engaging the text with a Rabbinic reading of a very familiar text—the story of Cain and Abel.
