Pledge

A pledge is the amount you plan to contribute during a specific fiscal year. It is a financial commitment to the Cathedral that helps pay for our ministries, staff and building upkeep. Pledges enable us to plan responsibly and help establish a sustainable annual operating budget. Pledging is also your way of affirming your membership at the Cathedral—pledging members may vote on matters considered at our association’s annual meeting—and your expression of gratitude to God for all that has been given to you. It is both a spiritual practice and a practical way to support the life and work of our Cathedral.

Fulfill Your Pledge

We welcome pledge payments via bank card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa), bank transfer, check, and even gifts of appreciated stock. We encourage contactless payment methods.

A potential key consideration for you as a donor is where you wish to utilize the tax benefit of your donation. The Cathedral is a French 1905 Association Cultuelle (religious non-profit association) and is therefore authorized to issue tax receipts eligible for tax reductions for French or EU taxpayers. Donors who are US taxpayers may prefer to give through the Foundation, a US 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that is authorized to issue receipts to support donations deductible to US taxpayers.

For total annual giving under €100 / $100, annual tax receipts will only be issued upon request.

Online payments are encrypted and securely processed. Transactions via AssoConnect use a tip system which can be adjusted when entering your payment. The Cathedral is not charged transaction fees with this system.

If you are a US tax resident, please use the button for our US based Foundation. You will not be issued a French donation receipt.

by Bank Transfer (€ or $)

You can set up a bank transfer from your European bank to the Cathedral. Your pledge payment will go directly to our bank account with no processing fees or commissions.
