“Love in a Box” (LIAB) is now “Love in a Backpack”!

The Love in a Box (LIAB) program is a cherished annual tradition bringing the joy of the holidays to children in need. For over 20 years, as part of our Cathedral Mission & Outreach program, we have worked with schools and community partners Paris-wide, coordinating the preparation and distribution of gifts to numerous charities throughout France. This year, instead of boxes, backpacks will be filled with many goodies, toys, and practical gifts that will bring great joy to hundreds of children of all ages. Join us and be part of the "Love in a Backpack” giving joy!

Sunday, November 19th and Sunday, November 26th

Empty gift backpacks (with instructions for filling) will be distributed following the 11:00 a.m. service. Filled backpacks are to be returned by December 3rd. There will also be a community drive to fill backpacks at the Cathedral during coffee hour on Sunday, November 26th. All are welcome!

Blessing of the Backpacks | Sunday, December 3rd

We will be blessing the prepared backpacks during the 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, December 3rd.

Clothing Drive

In addition to the “Love in a Backpack” project, we are also collecting lightly-worn, clean, warm clothing items to donate to those in need. Please bring contributions for children ages 7+, men and women on November 19th, 26th and December 3rd at the 11:00 a.m. service.
