Carole Le Floc’h

With a solid background in association management and wealth of experience in various fields, Carole has honed expertise in association governance, volunteer team management, administration management of employees, law, accounting, and financial management since returning to France in 2009.

Carole is perfectly bilingual in English and French. She graduated from both the University of La Sorbonne Paris with a Master’s Degree in Foreign Languages, Politics, Economics and Sociology and the University of Panthéon Assas Paris with a Bachelor Degree in Communication and Media Studies. She spent 17 years in the UK, taking on various positions in public authorities such as Marketing, Communication & Tourism Assistant for the Harrogate International Centre; Economic & Development Manager for the Harrogate District Borough Council and CRM Administrator for AQA, provider of academic qualifications.

Back in France, Carole’s commitment to promoting education initiatives led her to an active engagement with the British International Section of La Celle Saint Cloud, where she spearheaded efforts to enhance the school’s visibility and admissions performance, resulting in the creation of new classroom grades. Subsequently, she created and assumed the role of Admissions Officer, overseeing operations from reception years up to the International Baccalauréat.

Carole was then approached by the 1905 association, Emmanuel International Church, to create a Finance & Administration Manager position, which she held for nine years. She drove various initiatives such as process enhancement, archives centralization, HR management development, careful budget presentation and monitoring and financial planning, enabling the association to gather funds for property renovation and church planting projects.

Seeking to expand her knowledge of the non-profit sector, Carole resumed studies in 2020/2021 with a Professional Degree in the Management of Organizations of the Social Economy at the University of Paris Nanterre. Concurrently, she assumed the role of co-President of the ASEGA association, managing an AGORAé (a social grocery store dedicated to students in need) during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In October 2021, Carole embarked on a new chapter as Finance and Administration Manager for the American Cathedral in Paris’ 1905 & 1901 associations.

A career in association management is teamwork at its best, with staff and volunteer teams coming together to share their expertise and achieve a common goal.
