Archive Ministry
The Archive Committee tends to the official records of the Cathedral and its ministries. Its members ensure that the history of the Cathedral’s past is appropriately preserved while working with current ministries to ensure that records documenting today’s ministry may inform future generations. The Archive Committee assists clergy and staff with specific inquiries related to past events and services (i.e. baptisms, weddings, funerals, etc.). The Archive Committee works in an advisory role with the various ministries of the Cathedral to establish the framework for selecting documents (mainly papers and photos), their organization and/or indexing (inventory), and method of conservation (physical and/or electronic storage).
