What is the “purpose” of The American Cathedral in Paris? What do cathedrals and parishes have in common, and how are they different? In this Forum, the Very Reverend Gary Hall, previously Dean of the Washington National Cathedral, explores the nature of cathedrals and the opportunities for – and challenges to – Cathedral ministry as The American Cathedral in Paris begins its second century of cathedral ministry. Dean Hall also is our preacher at the 11 a.m. liturgy.
