This forum will look at women’s roles in the church, from Mary Magdalene and the other Marys in the Gospels (as depicted in the cartoon) through to St. Nino, revered Apostle and Enlightener to Georgia in the fourth century, and then up to the present day, examining the status of women in general and women in the Episcopal church in particular. Led by the Rev. Mary Haddad, former Canon at The American Cathedral in Paris, the Forum will seriously but lightheartedly consider the question: “Have we come a long way, baby, or do we still have a long way to go?!”
