In this Forum, parishioner Bill Tompson will look at sin: what is it and why is it a problem? Why do some Christians love to talk so much about sin, while others seem to avoid the subject at all costs? In this first of a two-part series, Bill explores the paradoxes around the Biblical writers’ discussion of sin and looks at why it is both more and less serious than we sometimes imagine. On May 14th, interim Dean Tim Safford will follow up with a look at the solution, exploring redemption and atonement.
