Cathedral Forum: Vocation and Calling: Part 2

  • The American Cathedral in Paris 23 Avenue George V Paris, IDF, 75008 France (map)

Our visiting priest, the Rev. Lissa Smith, Canon Pastor at Christ Cathedral, Nashville, continues the discussion of vocation and call that she began in the Cathedral Forum on Oct. 22.

Based on the principles of great thinkers and theologians, we will explore the concept of vocation. We will will discuss call, which is only possible once we have begun to realize who we are and whose we are. We will explore how we might stake our claim at the American Cathedral in Paris and participate in the gospel imperatives coming from this place.

We will learn about particular ministries of the church, and the ones we want to create, beginning with pastoral care and expanding from there. Please join us as we discuss the importance of being the hands and feet of Christ, sharing our gifts and bringing about the kingdom in our time.

This is a hybrid forum; please join us in the Parish Hall or on Zoom.

Please note that there will be no Cathedral Forum on Sunday, November 5th. Cathedral Forum will resume on Sunday, November 12th.
