Please join us online and in person on Sunday, May 19th at 11:00 a.m. for a special service for Pentecost, traditionally celebrated 50 days after Easter, a multilingual celebration that recalls the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, and their “speaking in tongues.” Bishop Mark Edington will join us for this very festive service, which will include baptism, confirmation, and reaffirmation of faith.
Pentecost Picnic – bring a dish! After the service, please join for a picnic in the Parish Hall, Cloister, and Dean’s Garden. In honor of Pentecost, we invite you to bring a favorite dish from a place or culture you consider a home. Please label your dish and drop it off in the Parish Hall before the service. The Cathedral will provide drinks and cake.
As part of our Pentecost celebrations, we will be announcing our special summer theme as Paris prepares to welcome the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Watch this space!
