We live in frighteningly polarized times. It can sometimes feel as if we’ll never bridge the enormous divides in our society. But there is hope! In this Forum, Sylvie Botétémé and Barbara Diggs, co-chairs of Becoming Beloved Community, will discuss reconciliation: What is it? How can we get there? What needs to happen first? To help frame the context of this discussion, we will watch a short video of an extraordinary example of reconcilation between victims and perpetrators of the Rwandan genocide, now living side-by-side in “reconciliation villages.”
