Cathedral Forum | Episcopal 101: Who are we and how are we organised?

  • The American Cathedral in Paris 23 Avenue George V Paris, IDF, 75008 France (map)

Join us this Sunday, as we kick off a new forum series, Episcopal 101: Everything You Always Wanted to Know About the Episcopal Church (but were afraid to ask). Over the next eight weeks, we will explore our Episcopal tradition in a series of discussions of our history, institutions, liturgy and spirituality, designed for lifelong Episcopalians, newcomers and everyone in between. This week, Dean James Harlan and Senior Warden Kim Powell begin with the most basic questions of who we are and how we are organised, not only as the Episcopal Church but here in our very particular context – The Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe.

Our Cathedral Forum series provides occasions to discuss topics ranging from politics to spirituality, economics, and literature, with fascinating guest speakers. The Forum seeks to help parishioners deepen their understanding of Christian faith and life, drawing on scripture, reason and tradition to understand its relevance to our lives and to our world, attentive to God's hand in the co-evolution of our world and of our church.

This is a hybrid forum; please join us in the Parish Hall or on Zoom.
