Everyone is invited to a special forum on Sunday, November 17th, as part of our Cathedral’s Episcopal 101 series this autumn. Dean James will facilitate a conversation with Bishop Andy Doyle (Diocese of Texas) and Bishop Mark Edington (Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe) about the role and ministry of bishops in the Episcopal Church. The forum will begin in person (with an option to join by Zoom) at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall, just before our 11:00 a.m. service in which we will welcome Bishop Doyle as our preacher.
Our Cathedral Forum series provides occasions to discuss topics ranging from politics to spirituality, economics, and literature, with fascinating guest speakers. The Forum seeks to help parishioners deepen their understanding of Christian faith and life, drawing on scripture, reason and tradition to understand its relevance to our lives and to our world, attentive to God's hand in the co-evolution of our world and of our church.
This is a hybrid forum; please join us in the Parish Hall or on Zoom.
