The Cathedral is a splendid and unique environment. A landmark building in the neo-Gothic style, it was designed in December 1880 by renowned Gothic Revival architect George Edmund Street. The first service was held on September 12th, 1886, and the Cathedral consecrated on Thanksgiving Day, November 25th, 1886.
The Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity (The American Cathedral in Paris) is a house of prayer for all people, the spiritual home for the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe, and the seat of our Bishop in Charge, as well as one of the seats of our Presiding Bishop.
